Performance
The NEXO features Hydrogen Fuel Cell power to deliver 380 miles of range. While Blue models - rated for 65 MPGe - can travel nearly 400 miles, Limited models offer 354 miles of range. Produce zero emissions with the Hyundai NEXO Fuel Cell, as water is the only thing coming out of the tailpipe.
Using a high-capacity lithium-ion battery system, the NEXO is refueled with hydrogen and powered by an electric motor. Hydrogen from the fuel tanks travels to the 95-kW fuel-cell stack. The 40-kWh battery pack can store extra energy. These two power the electric motor that outputs 161 horsepower and 291 pound-feet of torque.
Design
Exterior
A low drag coefficient results in increased driving range for the Hyundai NEXO Fuel Cell, which has clean lines and a highly aerodynamic shape. This Hyundai rides on standard 17-inch alloy wheels or optional 19-inch alloy wheels.
